James Frith’s first community surgery, held today at Tesco Bury, has been hailed as a great success.
James made a commitment before the election to be a visible and accessible MP and has kept his promise, with regular advice surgeries and street surgeries in which he has met hundreds of people.
Thanks to agreement with Tesco Bury, James will now be able to hold regular community surgeries in the store, allowing shoppers to raise any issues with him.
“I enjoyed meeting local people this morning, who were only too happy to stop whilst out doing the weekly shop to have a chat about local and national issues. My team and I will take all of their concerns up and work to solve them. I hope this will be the first of many such community surgeries here in Tesco and in other venues across our town.”
