James Frith Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Bury North

Bury North MP James Frith has hailed his first Big Conversation tour as a big success as he wraps up for the summer after meeting hundreds of residents across every town and village in the north of the borough.
James launched a two-week tour across Bury, Tottington and Ramsbottom as Parliament broke for the summer recess, using the extra time to get out in every community and hosting more than two dozen public events.
James held business walkabouts in Bury, Tottington and Ramsbottom, street surgeries in Ramsbottom and across Bury, coffee mornings in Redvales and East Bury, public meetings in Tottington, Moorside and East Bury and a tour of rural villages, in addition to visiting a number of local organisations and community groups.
James said:
“My first Big Conversation tour was a big success, engaging hundreds of residents across every community in Bury North, but this was just the start. In the autumn I’ll be picking up the pace, with a series of street surgeries, coffee mornings and public meetings on issues ranging from Brexit to housing and education and bringing senior politicians from London to Bury to hear directly the concerns of local people and feed these into the national political debate.”
